1. AGREEMENT OVERVIEW
This Domain Name Registration Agreement ("Agreement") governs the registration, renewal, and management of domain names through DIYTel's domain registration services. By registering a domain name through DIYTel, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, ICANN policies, and applicable registry terms.
Parties:
- Registrant: The individual or entity registering the domain name
- DIYTel: The ICANN-accredited registrar providing domain registration services
- Registry: The organization operating the top-level domain (TLD)
2. DOMAIN REGISTRATION PROCESS
2.1 Registration Requirements
Eligibility:
- Legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Accurate and complete contact information
- Compliance with registry-specific requirements
- No intent to infringe intellectual property rights
Required Information:
- Full legal name (individual or business entity)
- Complete mailing address
- Valid email address and phone number
- Administrative and technical contact details
2.2 Registration Procedure
Domain Availability:
- Real-time availability checking
- First-come, first-served basis
- No guarantee of availability until payment processed
- Reserved names not available for registration
Registration Completion:
- Payment processing and verification
- Registry submission and approval
- WHOIS database publication
- Registration confirmation and documentation
2.3 Registration Periods
Standard Terms:
- Minimum registration: 1 year
- Maximum registration: 10 years (registry dependent)
- Renewal in 1-year increments
- Grace periods as defined by registry policies

- Restoration fees: $150.00 CAD + registry fees
3.2 Payment Terms

Billing Cycle:
- Annual billing in advance
- Auto-renewal available (recommended)

3.3 Refund Policy
Registration Refunds:

- No refunds after 5-day period
- Registry fees non-refundable
- Processing fees may apply
Special Circumstances:

- Fraudulent transactions
4. REGISTRANT RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 Registrant Rights
Domain Control:
- Exclusive right to use registered domain name
- Control over DNS settings and name servers
- Right to transfer domain to another registrar
- Right to modify contact information
Information Access:
- Access to domain management tools
- WHOIS information updates
- Registration history and documentation
- Renewal and expiration notifications
4.2 Registrant Responsibilities
Information Accuracy:
- Maintain accurate and current WHOIS information
- Update contact details within 15 days of changes
- Respond to registrar verification requests
- Ensure authorized use of contact information
Compliance Obligations:
- Comply with ICANN policies and procedures
- Respect intellectual property rights
- Use domain for lawful purposes only
- Respond to legitimate dispute proceedings
Payment Obligations:
- Pay all registration and renewal fees on time
- Maintain current payment information
- Notify registrar of billing disputes promptly
- Accept responsibility for all domain-related charges

- Cover costs of legal proceedings
- Compensate for damages and losses
- Cooperation in defense of claims
11. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION

DIYTel Termination Rights:
- Non-payment of fees
- Breach of agreement terms
- ICANN or registry violations
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
Registrant Termination Rights:
- Voluntary cancellation with notice
- Transfer to another registrar
- Non-renewal at expiration
- Dispute resolution outcomes
11.2 Suspension Procedures
Temporary Suspension:

Suspension Notice:
